Prices in US dollars. Paid plans will bill through Stripe once billing is live; nothing is charged before then, and nobody is on a paid plan today. The project and AI allowances above are what each tier will include when that happens — none of them are enforced right now.
What you get on every tier
The plan is never the paid part.
We are not going to put your own project behind a paywall. Scheduling, dependencies, money, documents and the daily digest work the same on Free as they do on Pro — the tiers differ on how many projects you can run and how much AI you can spend.
Planning never pauses
When the AI allowances arrive, hitting one stops the AI and nothing else. The timeline, the dates, the dependencies and the money keep working exactly as before, because none of that needs a model to run.
Your data is yours
Ask for a copy of a project at any time, on any tier, including free. We would rather you could leave easily than stay because it is awkward not to.
No surprise charges
Nothing auto-upgrades and nothing overages you into a bill. When you reach a limit, you are told you reached a limit.
Questions
The honest answers
Can I actually pay you today?
No, and we would rather say so plainly than build a checkout that does not work. Billing is not live yet. Free is a real, working plan you can sign up for right now; Plus and Pro are what we intend to charge when Stripe is wired up. Everything described on the features page and shown in the examples ships today — only the billing is coming.
What counts as an AI action?
Anything where the model does real work on your project. In practice that is one of three things: a research pass on a task, which goes and reads sources and writes a document back; an organize or draft pass, where it proposes phases, tasks, dates or a re-plan; and a chat turn that changes something — asks it to add the utilities cutover, and that is an action.
A chat turn that just answers a question, opening a project, editing a task yourself, moving a date, or receiving the daily digest are not AI actions and will never be metered. (The daily digest is composed by the app from your own numbers, not by a model, so it costs nothing either way.)
Today none of this is counted against a monthly allowance, because the allowances ship with billing. The only limit switched on right now is a short burst cap — twenty model calls in ten minutes per account — which exists to stop a runaway script, not to ration normal use. You will not reach it by planning a wedding.
What happens when I hit the cap?
There is no monthly cap to hit yet — the allowances arrive with billing. When they do, the AI will pause until the month rolls over and planning will not. You will still be able to create and edit tasks, move dates, re-derive the schedule, track money, write documents and get your digest — the whole product minus the model. Nothing gets deleted, nothing gets locked, and you are never charged to continue.
If you do trip the twenty-calls-in-ten-minutes burst cap, the AI comes back within ten minutes and nothing else is affected.
Can I export my data?
Your data is yours, on every tier including free — your projects, tasks, dates, cash flow entries and documents. Being straight with you: the one-click export button is not built yet. Until it is, email hello@getincontrol.com and we will send you the whole project as a file. If you leave, you leave with the plan.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes — when there is something to cancel. Paid plans will be month-to-month through Stripe with no contract and no cancellation fee; cancelling will stop the next charge and leave you on Free with your projects intact.
What about refunds?
Nobody has paid us anything yet, so nobody is owed a refund yet. The policy that will apply once billing is live is written down in advance on the refunds page.
Will the free tier get worse when billing arrives?
The free tier is meant to be enough to plan one real project end to end — one wedding, one move, one renovation — and we intend to keep it that way. If the limits ever change, this page changes with them and we will say so rather than let you find out.
Is there a team or family plan?
Not yet. Sharing a project with the other people living it is the thing we get asked about most, and it is on the list — but it does not exist today, so it is not on this page as if it did. Tell us what you need at hello@getincontrol.com.
